I was wondering if the enhancements on items stack?

For example,I have a Wand and a Flame artifact and both have +20% fast skill regen when the skill used is fire.

So do I have +40% or just +20%?

Further, If they don't stack does the higher number take precence over the lower say if I had a +11% and a +20%?

Lastly,can the answers to these questions be generalized for all such enhancements on items or do the answers vary from enhancement to enhancement?

I can only imagine that a tech/admin can only answer this. I'd like to think that if you had two 20% items in hand, that you'd get the full 40%. But... only someone who's either tested this fully or knows the code can tell you if this is the case.

Very good question by the way. This also brings up the fact that if you have armor on that reduces 10% of physical attacks, and a shield that has attributes, would that not stack?

Let me start by saying I may very well be wrong. The way skill regen items work is you have X% chance that your skills will regen faster. If its 20% then 20% of the time your skills will regenerate faster. So, if you had two items, I can only imagine the computer would check each item to see if you got the benefit of faster skill recharge. Two 20% chances does not equal a 40% chance though. However, I would think for that purpose these items stack. Now, what probably does NOT stack is if each item is triggered, item 1 is not recharging your skills faster, and if item 2 also was "rolled" to recharge your skills faster you would not see a "double-speed" skill recharge.

I hope this makes sense, Im finding it hard to 'splain.

You'd think they would stack.

I've got a focus and wand that roughly gives me +30 health, between the two. And in the end after you add the bonuses I still get +30 life. So maybe they %'s will stack, does the same for energy.
